WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 28, 2000--In an
interview with James K. Glassman of TechCentralStation.com today (www.TechCentralStation.com), Arkansas
Governor Mike Huckabee said that President Clinton would probably be disbarred in his home
state.
Addressing the issue of whether or not Clinton would be disbarred,
Governor Huckabee said, "I think there is a good chance of it (disbarment)... it's
not just the fact that there are serious issues to deal with, but one of the bigger issues
is what does it say about our justice system if there is different level of justice for
those with positions and power than for those who don't have it."
Huckabee also gave some personal advice for the
president: "The honorable thing for Bill Clinton would be to voluntarily just say, `I
don't ever intend to practice law in Arkansas; here's the license,' you know, and avoid
our controversy.'
