Gun-Grabber Hysteria Backfires in Their Face
HenchPAC Exclusive
Smith and Wesson's Faustian deal with Bill Clinton was in their words, "an attempt to save the company." It turns out it may prove to be the nail in the coffin, the proverbial ricochet that hits them square between the eyes.
Expecting that other gun manufacturers would crumble like they did, S&W caved first, in a greedy attempt to win more federal law enforcement contracts, something the Clinton administration promised in exchange for the deal.
The only problem is, favoring government contract bidders is a major felony, as defined even by Clinton's Obstruction of Justice Department.
When they realized they'd been tricked, S&W put the best face on it. Claiming that their willingness to "implement new life saving technologies" was a win-win for all involved.
Unfortunately for S&W, two things happened. First, major manufacturers Glock and Browning announced they weren't willing to be bullied and extorted into an agreement that would basically require them to allow the Feds to design their products.
Second, the public revolted. There is now a nationwide boycott on all S&W products, probably the fatal self-inflicted wound. Not only have S&W lost a major portion of domestic sales, (still the biggest market) but they've been forced to hire extra help to man the phones which have been inundated with angry gun owners swearing (literally) that they will NEVER buy another S&W product.
In the meantime, Glock and Browning report that in the few hours since they made their announcements, the phones have been ringing off the hook, with both praise and sales orders that should make for record months. Local dealers report that Glock guns (who announced their opposition first) are virtually out of stock, and the waiting lists are growing.
Why? Because Americans are sick of the federal government telling them what they must do. Even more so, they are appalled at the apparent lack of respect for the Constitution this current administration has demonstrated over the last seven years. Realizing that the 2nd amendment guarantees all others, Americans are finally putting their foot, and hammer down.
How does this bode for the general election in November? Well, there are forty million registered Democrats in this country. Unfortunately for Al Gore, there are EIGHTY million gun owners, angry, ready to vote owners.
As Admiral Yamamoto said after the bombing of Pearl Harbor: "I feel we have only awoken a sleeping giant."
The gun grabbing liberal Democrats' Hiroshima may be coming in November.
