Roger Clinton Will Be Indicted, Reporters Who Broke Story Predict

Former first brother Roger Clinton will be indicted.
That's the prediction from WABC Radio's John Batchelor and Paul Alexander, who first reported allegations that have led to a subpoena for Clinton to testify before a federal criminal grand jury this Friday.
For weeks the radio duo have been using their own weekend show, "The Sunday Spin," to break news on the burgeoning investigation into Roger's alleged role in swindling a Texas family out of their life savings with the promise of presidential clemency.
Meanwhile the mainstream media has been playing catch-up. Days, sometimes weeks, after the two hosts have gone public with the latest Roger Clinton Pardongate development, the establishment press eventually confirms their scoop.
When the radio duo first outlined charges by the family of Garland Lincecum, who say they paid Roger's company nearly a quarter of a million dollars for the promise of presidential clemency, reporters ignored their report.
That was Feb. 27. But by March 10, federal investigators were on the case. Suddenly mainstream headlines blared "Roger & Fee? FBI Eyes Shakedown" (New York Post) and "Swindle is Reported to Use the Name of Roger Clinton" (New York Times).
Four days later, a Clinton business associate contradicted the former first brother's denial of any involvement with the company paid by the Lincecums, saying business records would prove Roger was an active participant. The New York Daily News headlined their report, "Roger Called Partner in Shady Biz."
On March 29, Batchelor and Alexander told NewsMax.com exclusively that Roger Clinton was about to be subpoenaed to testify before U.S. Attorney Mary Jo White's Pardongate grand jury.
Mainstream press coverage: Zilch.
But sixteen days later, when the media discovered that the radio investigators were right, news of Roger's subpoena became a major Easter weekend story -- right behind coverage of the resolution of the China hostage stand-off.
So when these two talk radio investigators go public with pronouncements like those they made Monday on Sean Hannity's WABC radio show, it's worth paying attention.
"We have now, seven weeks later, as much confidence as you can have on this planet that Roger Clinton was fully involved," said Batchelor.
"And fully aware of what was going to happen," added Alexander.
"We can put Roger with a witness who is now asking for immunity; a witness who can put Roger in a meeting with Garland Lincecum in the fall of 1998," added Batchelor.
Richard Casey, the witness they say is ready to give Clinton up, was in on the scam and benefited financially. Besides his own eyewitness account, Casey reportedly has receipts of first class airline tickets he purchased for Clinton and a companion to travel to the Clinton-Lincecum meeting.
ALEXANDER: This is a gang. You're dealing with criminals here.
BATCHELOR: What's funny about this is; the criminals are following (reports on) this story. They're following this story in the New York Times, they're following this story in the L.A. Times. They're following it, for heaven sakes, on NewsMax.com, specifically on NewsMax.com.
HANNITY: How do you know?
BATCHELOR: Because they call up our sources and tell them they're reading the latest evidence on NewsMax.com.....
HANNITY: You're basically saying that you think Roger Clinton's going to get indicted.
BATCHELOR: Yes.
HANNITY: How soon? I guess that's up to the grand jury.
BATCHELOR: There's a (prosecutor) named Jacobson at the U.S. Attorney's office. He's the kind of general you bring in when you're attacking. This isn't somebody who's treading water like we used to have out of the Reno Justice Department.... They want to win.
Is the talk radio duo jumping the gun? Maybe. But then again, there's apparently more evidence against Roger that they have yet to share.
We know a lot more than we're telling you," Batchelor and Alexander reminded their "Sunday Spin" audience the day before.
HENCH adds: Ahhh, I love the smell of INDICTMENTS in the morning!
